Product overview

Removing limescale from kitchen equipment and utensils, including boilers, steamers, and tea and coffee urns.

  • Pack size: 5 Litre
  • Dilution / use: Soaking: 50–200 ml in 1 litre of hot water; fill the item or soak until scale dissolves, scrub heavy deposits if needed
    Spray cleaning: 200 ml per litre of water, leave for 30 minutes
  • Cost in use: Approx. (PKR 7,434/5000ml)*200ml PKR 298 per liter of ready to use solution

Application & usage

  1. Empty and prepare the equipment according to its manufacturer's cleaning instructions.
  2. Check material compatibility and wear the protective equipment specified by the product SDS.
  3. Prepare the descaling solution using the label's dilution and water-temperature instructions for the application.
  4. Apply or soak only as directed. Allow the stated treatment time and gently agitate deposits where permitted.
  5. Drain and rinse thoroughly with clean drinking-quality water. Complete the equipment manufacturer's rinse procedure before returning it to service.

Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces. Never mix with bleach, chlorine products or other chemicals. Automated machine descaling requires its own approved procedure.

Q1. Is Suma CALC D5 a kitchen degreaser?

Its main purpose is removing limescale. Grease and burnt-on food require an appropriate cleaner selected for that type of residue.

Q2. Can I use it inside a coffee machine or boiler?

Only if both the equipment manufacturer and the supplied product instructions approve that application. Follow the equipment-specific descaling and rinsing procedure.

Q3. Is D5 suitable for marble or other natural stone?

Do not use it on acid-sensitive stone such as marble. Check material compatibility and choose a cleaner approved for the particular surface.
